Installation Instructions for Street Glide models through 2013
The fairing shell will have to be removed to enable access to the plug end at the end of the turn signal wires.
The deflectors install by removing the front turn signals, threading the fixture into the deflector while routing the wire to the turn signal through the small pre-drilled hole in the deflector then reinstalling the two pieces back onto the side of the down tubes.
The opening for the turn signal should have a consistent reveal around the lens and fixture. There is a small amount of adjustment available to center the fixture in the opening.
Reroute the turnsignal wire back to the factory connection. Test the turn signals prior to re-installation of the fairing shell

All GADS deflectors are made of Polycarbonate plastic and are extremely durable, they should give you many years of trouble free service.

GADS Lower Triple Tree Deflector
This deflector installs to most touring platform H-D motorcycles through 2013
If you look at the back edge of your lower triple tree and see 3 little plastic plugs or holes this is where your deflector mounts
The bolts that hold the GADSLTTD on are 1/4”X20 tpi. The triple tree is pre-drilled and tapped to accept the included bolts.
If there is any resistance when screwing in the bolts you need to chase the threads with a 1/4”-20 tap to remove any obstruction on the threads (paint, rust, etc.)
