Glide Air Deflector System GADS is a new patent pending approach to a comfortable RoadGlide experience. The turbulence that you feel on your face, chest and torso is dramatically reduced and redirected. Many RoadGlide owners spend lots of money buying expensive replacement windshields trying to find relief from the aggressive buffeting which is the effect caused by the RoadGlide Ultra fairing. Testing has proved, it is not the wind coming over the windshield beating you up, but the wind that comes up from under the sides of the fairing past the turn signals that is abusing the rider with extremely turbulent air. If you have ever put your feet on the top of your crash bars at highway speed you have some idea how well GADS will work for you.
GADS mount to the fairing support bracket between inner fairing and the fairing support bracket with a virtually invisable mounting system.(Will fit older RoadGlides if using updated turnsignals and relocated upper fairing.)
GADS 002 designed to fit all Ultra Road Glide models and Road Glides set up as Ultras using late model Vented Lower Fairings and late model support brackets with late model Turn Signals.

GADS002
2004 -2013 RoadGlide
GADS are created using virtually indestructible polycarbonate. GADS have a mounting system that uses the turn signal mounts to hold the deflector in place. They sit between the mounting bracket and the inner fairing, virtually invisible from the outside of the fairing. The top of the mounting flange has a hole and a notch, allowing for adjustment. The top of the flange is horizontal and sits toward the center line of the motorcycle. The notch is for the rear bolt and the wiring. Keep the wiring in the notch, do not pinch the wiring. The hole is for the front mounting stud.
- Remove protective film from GADS.
- Cover the front fender with a towel to avoid scratches or dings.
- Pick a side to install the GADS on, then remove the nuts that hold the front turn signal on but do not remove the signal yet as there are wires that power the signal.
- Pull the turn signal studs loose from the fairing but do not pull the wires out of the fairing.
- Slide the hole in the front of the deflector mounting flange between the mounting bracket and the inner fairing aligning the three holes. (inner fairing, GADS, fairing support bracket)
- Loosely install turn signal CAUTION: DO NOT PINCH WIRING
- The notch allows for a small amount of adjustment, pivot the deflectors toward the crash bar, recheck wiring, then tighten to torque spec. do not over tighten if installing GADS002 in front of lowers, install so the ploycarbonate cannot come into contact with the paint. GADS will bend a small amount under a wind load.
- Move to the other side and repeat
GADS is a small cottage industry
